Black Male Youth Academy

The B.M.Y.A and Poetic Mind class joined together to have fun at Six Flags Magic Mountain on February 13,2011.  This trip served a reward for the outstanding and hard work of students who participate in the B.M.Y.A and Poetic Mind classes.  Because of our hard work for activities such as the Fruit Tree Distribution, our presentation at the IUSD School Board meeting talking about conditions, and the exciting work in the Empowerment Community Garden.  As a member of the B.M.Y.A, everything we continue to do is great from the Fruit Tree Distribution to the Six Flags Magic Mountain trip has been awesome and inspiring.  It has been fun, exciting and awesome to build community with great people and I can't wait until our next activities.
